Fruits Basket Tohru Honda is a young highschool girl who lost her mother in a car accident . Her grandfather's house is being renewed, and she decides to live on her own for a while. She ends up tresspassing Sohma property (not on purpose!), and they invite her to live with them after they figured out that she was living in a tent!
